If a circle and a square are the same size, its impossible to circle a square, but neither can you square a circle. A square being a polygon has a dimensionality to it, it can be numerically defined having 4 right angles. A circle has no dimension, no beginning nor end, and can only be expressed as the imaginary numbers of 0 and infinity. This expresses the superimposition of the square over the circle, the way that spirit consciousness gets trapped in matter or dimensionality, but also that its not actually trapped, and that everything is in consistent motion. Also expresses the truth that zero and infinity are NOT imaginary, but exist, as they can be geometrically mapped. A circle with a larger circumference than the perimeter of a square can of course circle a square, however not perfectly, so it doesn’t count, suggesting the spiraling nature of energy. Here we see the elegant display of the lower and higher selves as circles, and the thoughtform field of experiential dimensional reality as a square.
If we were to superimpose a triangle in the middle of the squared circle, we can begin to comprehend the motion of consciousness between dimensions and frequency bands, and geometrically map out the function of spiral dynamism. The greatest motion in alchemy, is the sublimation of the circle into a spiral. This is done through the purifying fires of the triangle.
The inability to square the circle or circle the square, further suggests that we cannot measure the immaterial noumenal domain via any phenomenal objective apparatus, furthermore, that our empiricism or the observation of objective phenomena is illusory, and any real comprehension would be based on velocity (the speed of something in a given direction.) We cannot gather information through a fixed perception. Its not possible, only through the consistent momentum of a universal stream can we become aware of what actually is. If it were possible to gather information through fixed empirical definition then the circle would be able to encapsulate the square.
